My personal journey involved weight that would NOT get lost, skin that was a hot mess, sleepless nights, tired mornings, stress through the roof. I needed hormonal harmony instead of that hormonal hell!

I left my crazy public relations life behind and got into wellness after I discovered that FOOD totally dictated how I felt inside my own body. I discovered whole foods and how NOT to use food to handle stress and emotion. I wanted to help other move towards clean, nontoxic living to prevent disease, balance moods and reduce stress. 

I helped tons of clients move towards cleaner living and continued to improve my own skin, energy and sleep. 

BUT MY PCOS SYMPTOMS WOULD NOT BUDGE! And neither would the weight. Refusing to give up, I was always researching. What causes weight to stay on? What was happening with my own body? What about PCOS was making it so difficult? Why, even when eating really clean, did my PCOS not respond? Why wouldn't my body improve with exercise? Well then I finally figured it out by going out on a limb and trying something REALLY foreign. A high-fat lifestyle!

Meaning: I had to look at what was working for others, do the research, understand what my wacky-hormoned body wanted from me. And you know what? It wanted to be flushed with fat, healthy cholesterol for the foundation of hormone creation and to dial down insulin response to turn off the chaos. 

THE HIGH-FAT KETOGENIC WAY MADE ME SHED WEIGHT LIKE CRAZY AND PUT MY HORMONES IN THIER PLACE! 

I saw so much of my body change so quickly that I was obsessed with learning more. I studied healthy fats and the impact it was having on my blood sugar. I looked at which fats I should incorporate and which ones I shouldn't. I still prioritize clean foods in my life, but just changed how much I was eating from which macronutrient category! 

And poof! Every week I end up with a new me. I'm shedding toxic body fat that is keeping my hormones from behaving and I have more energy and more body confidence than ever.
