Essential Oils To Keep Insects Off

Bugs and Mosquitoes happen to find me more than anyone else I am with. Before I knew about doTERRA, I was struggling with finding ways to keep insects away without spraying myself down with toxic hormone-disrupting ingredients I could hardly pronounce.

I discovered an all-natural bug repellant that I can use even on my young nieces and nephews. I use doTERRA’S repellant blend Terrashield spray.

Terrashield combines a proprietary blend of highly effective and safe essential oils in a base of fractionated coconut oil to help ward off insects. A primary function of essential oils in plants is protecting against insects and other predators. Unlike other products that contain synthetic and toxic chemicals, TerraShield is a natural approach to managing exposure to biting insects. TerraShield’s fresh, a light citrus scent is wonderfully invigorating and can be used safely by everyone in the family. One application provides coverage that lasts up to six hours.

  • Apply Terrashield to the legs, arms, and neck before going outdoors or diffuse on your patio to ward off pesky insects.
  • Take TerraShield on camping trips or to outdoor events.
  • Apply TerraShield directly to the skin or use in a spray bottle.
  • Rub or spray TerraShield around your door and window seals to deter insects from entering.

Oils can be so confusing! There are so many ways to use them. Look at Kelly's exact daily routine to see how you get use them all day long.

  • The oils I use first thing in the morning for clear skin and digestion.
  • Stress management oils and which to use before bed.
